Spring is almost here, the Sandbass should be about ready to go at Chouteau Bend and Twin Bridges on Grand Lake. The Hybrid fishing is still good on Sooner, Skiatook is still a little cold, but should pick up any time with warm days we are having. Catfish are excellent at Keystone and Eufaula. The bait is easy too get at the Port of Catoosa.

The speaker this month will be John Williams a guide and Basspro representative. John will be discussing striper fishing below Zink Dam in Down Town Tulsa. You won't want to miss this presentation striper fish close to home.

Jeff Boxrucker, Assistant Chief of Fish Division, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife, will also attending the meeting to accept the donation that was mail to the ODWC office earlier last month. Jeff will be available for any questions any club member might have. He can also give a brief update on the Striped Bass Research projects that the ODWC has planned for 2009+.

Over the next month we have several outings planed:
April 4, Mazie Landing Fun Day and cook out in combination with The Fishing Note Book April 21, Monthly Meeting April 25,26 Ouachita Tournament, make plans now to attend!!
May 2, Big Brother and Sister fishing day

Sounds like a good one to me. Are the meetings still held at Zebco at 7?

Yes 7:00 pm at Zebco, you can enter on the east side of the building.
